Delray Beach Riptide Lacrosse was founded in 2008 as a 501c3 non-profit to run youth lacrosse for the City of Delray Beach. For the past 15+ years we have been a member of the South Florida Youth Lacrosse League (SFYLL), and we are members of USA Lacrosse. All coaches must pass mandatory background checks and are required to participate in annual coaching, concussion, and other trainings.
To honor and grow the game of lacrosse in Delray Beach and surrounding communities, while enriching the lives of our youth and fostering a lifelong love of the sport.
To cultivate a love of the sport lacrosse, and to instill in our members a respect for the historical roots of the ancient sport called “The Creator’s Game”.

“My passion for coaching comes from the joy I receive in watching the players improve over time. I like to teach the girls that the weakest ‘muscle’ in their body is their brains, helping them build the confidence to step out of their comfort zone and achieve things they didn’t believe they could do. Recreational lacrosse is intended to teach the love of the game and help players of every skill level find a way to contribute.”
Pat is the President of the Board and started Riptide over 20 years ago.
