In addition to many other volunteers and assistant coaches, our coaching roster includes:
Britney Lukowski played collegiate lacrosse at Savannah College of Art and Design, where she was a two-year team captain, a 2012 All-National Women’s Lacrosse League Second Team selection, and a 2013 Second Team NWLL All-American.
She began her coaching career while still in college as an assistant coach for the M&D 2014 Red team and has since coached high school JV, varsity, and club lacrosse programs throughout Maryland, Virginia, and most recently Florida.
Coach Brit is passionate about overall athletic development and brings additional experience in youth fitness and yoga. She previously led the kids’ program at a Baltimore-based CrossFit gym, taught yoga to athletes of all ages, and volunteered with an adaptive athlete CrossFit program.
She is dedicated to developing well-rounded players who are supportive teammates on and off the field, confident in themselves, and never afraid to be strong.
Ryan Rowlands has 20+ years of experience in men’s lacrosse. He grew up in upstate New York where he played starting at age 5 and continued through college. He graduated from Elizabethtown College NCAADIII, where he competed in the NCAA tournament three times. “The game of lacrosse has given me so much in the form of educational opportunities I otherwise would not have had, friendships, and countless life lessons. I am so excited at the opportunity to give back to the sport, and to hopefully share some of my wisdom with the next generation of players.” He is a proud father to two dughters, one who plays on Riptide, and another who’s not quite old enough to play (yet)!
Mike has been coaching for Delray Riptide girls lacrosse since 2019. He also coaches Florida Elite girls travel lacrosse, as well as girls lacrosse at Unity School in Delray Beach. In addition, he serves as a Riptide Board Member and Director. His two daughters are Riptide players. Mike’s outstanding dedication to the Riptide program and to girls lacrosse in Delray have helped grow the sport and program.
Mike played lacrosse middie for 4 years at Bridgewater State in Massachusetts. Post college he played 3 years as a Second Row for the Boston Rugby Football Club in the US Rugby Super League. On and off the field, Mike is a passionate, innovative leader with experience launching five businesses from inception to profit. He currently owns a consulting business catering to global StartUps.
“My passion for coaching comes from the joy I receive in watching the players improve over time. I like to teach the girls that the weakest ‘muscle’ in their body is their brains, helping them build the confidence to step out of their comfort zone and achieve things they didn’t believe they could do. Recreational lacrosse is intended to teach the love of the game and help players of every skill level find a way to contribute.”
COACHING EXPERIENCE:
PLAYING EXPERIENCE:
Mike started coaching Riptide in 2019 when his eldest son was on U12, and he never looked back. He’s been coaching Riptide boys ever since; plus 1 season of Elite Travel. He proudly coached the 12U team through an undefeated season in 2025.
“I love coaching and just being on the fields. I like to teach the boys to have commitment, heart, and hustle. My focus is: ‘hustle beats talent’ and ‘ground balls win games’. I believe in teaching kids the importance of being committed to a team, being open to learning, and listening. The least experienced players are as important to me as the best players on my team. Each player has their own place on our team.”
Noah Morrissette has been coaching for Riptide since 2021. He played lacrosse in high school and introduced the sport to his two daughters, both Delray Riptide players, sparking his passion for coaching youth lacrosse.
Noah enjoys coaching with a focus on fundamentals, confidence, teamwork, and fun. Professionally, he is a Battalion Chief and paramedic with over 20 years in the fire service, bringing leadership and mentorship to the field.
Allie Wood is a former collegiate defender and experienced youth lacrosse coach. Most recently, she was part of Legacy Lacrosse in Virginia Beach, coaching box and field lacrosse, and she continues to compete in adult women’s lacrosse leagues. Allie was a four-year defensive player on the inaugural women’s lacrosse team at Florida Institute of Technology and earned 2014 All-Sunshine State Conference Second Team honors. She is passionate about empowering girls to build confidence, find their voice, and speak up for themselves and others both on and off the field.
