Travel lacrosse (also called “Club” lacrosse) takes place outside of the recreational season. It’s a great way for kids to advance their skill level and stay active in the sport. The seasons are shorter than rec, and usually include several weekend-long tournaments (instead of standalone games) per season.
Local and regional teams compete regionally, while state and national teams travel throughout the country. Many of our Riptide players play Fall (October through early December) and Spring (late April thru early June) travel lacrosse out of Delray or nearby towns. Some players also do the shorter winter seasons, and many state and national teams have year-long commitments and include summer travel.
